I have a 2000 f150 4x4 supercab with a 4.6a v8 and auto trans, I had a real bad shudder when up shifteing so I did a fiter & fluid change, Now the shudder is only when the tran shifts into OD, if i shut OD off it does not shudder. The truck has around 98,000 miles. I got it at 68,000. It does have a trans cooler. and I did buy and always but all parts from ford even the fluids. I know it is extreme,but I have had issues in the past with aftermarket. Please help if you can. Thanks alot.

 

Good luck on finding the solution. I'm having the same problem with my 06. I also did the tranny flush and added a tube of shudder fix, but it's still there in OD. Probably needs a new T/Q converter.
