Thanks to a post on this forum, I replaced the TPS in my 92 F150 with 5.0, which corrected most of my harsh shift problem. Now, 90% of the time it shifts like a dream.
But every so often, for no apparent reason, it will start slamming into gear again. RPM's are higher before it shifts, and when it does shift, it slams into gear so hard I get whiplash.
Do I still have a TPS problem, or is there something else I should be looking at?? Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks
