Hi all I'm back,
My inherited 98 F150 nascar edition has this problem with the shift pos indicator everything is off one detent is this an adjustment or........?
Any help would be apreciated! I inherited it by marriage so you can imagine some of the isssues I am dealing with. Got the cruise kick dowm /brake master recal dealt with but the cruise still not functioing.

Take off the cover below the steering column and there is a thumbwheel you can turn to move the indicator back and forth.

BTW, I think that nascar trim looks pretty sharp!
