overdrive turns itself back on?
Here's my question, I searched and couldn't find an answer.
I have an '06 F150 Supercrew, with about 3000 miles on it. When I'm towing, I turn the overdrive off. The orange light on the dash "O/D off" is displayed. On several occasions, while I'm driving (in motion, I haven't turned the truck off, I know it resets when you do), the "O/D off" light turns itself off. This is always preceded by the red light on top of the dash by the windshield (the one that flashes when the alarm is engaged) flashing. So, this red light flashes, then the O/D off light extinguishes. It usually happens when I'm going very slow on a side road, or stop and go traffic. Any ideas?
