Push Button 4x4 Reliable
Yo, easy on the caps lock....
Anyway, there is an electric motor, a few sensors, circuitry, relays, and the button contacts that could potentially fail. The manual shifts can fail to shift as well, but that is fixed with wd40 and some grease.
Best thing to do is shift it regularly. Incase you're not familiar, to shift in and out of low range you need to be stopped, in neutral (not park), foot on brake (with working brake lights), and wait till the shift completes.

That's what the wifer is for. Gotta train them right; send 'um to wife school. There's a course on just how, for the wife to turn to learn how to turn the hubs in and out. It's only a 4 hour course.
