I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice. My buddy has got an '02 SuperCrew w/ 5.4 that has a weird tranny/TC issue. It manifests itself in a couple of ways. When taking off from a stop, a stumble/slip can be felt. When cruising at 45mph/1300rpm, if the gas is just slightly pressed, it feels like the tranny slips and knocks back into gear. This also happens when maintaining 45mph on a slight, ~1.5%, grade. Also, when power braking and bringing the tach to 1300, it feels like the TC is trying to grab. The fluid has been flushed by Ford and they say the tranny is fine. Any comments?
