Hard Shift 1-2 and 2-3

I'm starting to see hard shifts again from 1-2 and now also 2-3.

I have newer fluid and filter.

If I start out slow(under 2,000 rpm) everything shifts normally all the time. The harder shifts happen at rpm's over 2,000. This is happening both hot and cold. I had the TC replaced about 24,000 miles ago due to a hard shift from 1-2. Any ideas are appreciated. I've heard of problems with the accumulator causing these symptoms. Any idea how expensive this is to fix?
Are there any reputable places out there that can read the transmission for codes(for free I mean)?

a local tranny shop should be able to read tranny codes. the accumulator spring needs to be checked and the piston can be changed, not expensive and you can get to them by droping the pan.

I had a shop quote me 450 to replace the accumulator and spring. They said Ford has a bad problem with these springs going bad and it could damage the trannmission case if the spring broke. I sold it before fixing.

$450 to replace the accumulator and the spring...holy cow, they didn't want your business. The accumulator will not make a hard 2-3 I would expect an electrical fault maxing out the epc solenoid.
