ive done a search and havent found a definete answer...how many qts will i need to change the fuild on my 03 xcab 4x4 5.4l ??? thanks!!

 

Which transmission do you have?

 

4r70w....im planning to change the filter too if that makes a difference...

 

When I change mine I drain the converter,drop the pan,and blow out the lines to the cooler.I can get almost 13 quarts back in.The 4R70W holds 13.9 quarts.
If you're dropping the pan it holds 4-5 quarts.This would be a good time to install a drain plug in your pan.
