Anyone ever changed Indicator thumbwheel???

I have found that my shifter indicator is off due to the little cheap plastic thumbwheel being broken. It looks pretty easy to fix but I know things like this can be. Looks like a cheap part that is easy to fix and turns into a cheap part that takes 2 days to fix.

Thanks

Sorry I haven't had to as the only truck with this in the fleet is the diesel. (Gotta love stickshifts in this case... ) I would like to know though incase this happens on the '02.

I have a 1998 but surely there are several years that coincide on this part. That would be great if you had one of these. Thanks

It is a piece of cake to change. Get one from a junk yard. The stealership only sells them as part of the whole assembly.
