Me and my buddy are looking to rebuild a couple of 4r70w transmissions that are coming out of ford crown victorias. He has rebuilt several dodge trannies in the past, but has no experience with ford. How difficult is it to rebuild the 4r70w and exactly what special tools are needed? The 4r70w and aode are the same in terms of rebuilding, correct? Any help or suggestions appreciated!
