Drain Plug

Does my 98 with the 4r70w trans have a converter drain plug? Want to change fluid. Will use mercon 5 fluid.Only fluid I found localy is castrol at 3.50 per quart, what a rip.

The 98 should have a drain plug.

yea tell me about it, i had to spend about $80 to do mine. i followed the manual and dipstick and bought just the mercon. and then started to get the TC shudder, so i had to drain all that out (which didn't even have 100 miles on it) and toss it. then i had to buy the mercon v
