Trans code
I just found out that my trans is a 4R70W not a E40d 
I have planing on towing a trailer a cople times a year this Summer. I DO NOT have the towing pakage, but did add a class 4 reciver. Trailer is about 3000-5000 pounds. I also haul loads of dirt and gravel in the bed about 700-1000 pounds worth. My trans was just flushed this summer. But it is also some what noticeable with shifting in to 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th. Is it on its way out? Is it worth putting in a trans cooler,or is it time for a new truck

O yea almost forgot 1997 F150 XLT 4x4 104,000
