95 F-150 with a shudder

I've a 95 f-150xl with a manual 5-spd and inline 6 300. Over the last few months I've had a shudder that was occuring at random times at a low throttle in 4th gear criusing on flats or a very slight downhill incline. It is now getting worse and is acting up in gears 2nd through 5th. When I let go of the gas and coast it stops or if I hit the gas and accelerate it stops. I don't think it's electric or fuel related, but I can't be sure. Thanks, Happy Holidays.

When you say a shutter, do you mean like a rapid increase and decline in power or a slip? If so, I would say your clutch is going. The easiest way to check is go up hill in high gear and give it some or alot of gas. If the engine revs and then slows as speed increases, you need a clutch. If your talking about a vibration, check it all. Wheel weights, trans mount, U-Joints, whatever. Oh yeah, could you take a picture of your trans crossmember for me?
