Speed odometer off?

Has anyone had a problem with the speed Odometer reading off? I have 05 Scab stock 4.6l 4X4 with stock tires and recently purchased a ScanGauge and have noticed that the Odometer reads 2-4 miles per hour less than what the ScanGage reads. At my last fill up reset the Trip to 0 on both and now the Truck Odometer reads 70.5 and the ScanGage reads 69.2. I would like the believe that the ScanGauge would read more accruate because it is read from the ODB2 and because it reads it digitley but is the Speed odometer correctly calibrated. Is this a problem that Ford should correct or am I worring about nothing.

Out of my last three Ford trucks only one truck, the 2000 Expy, had issues with incorrect speedometer and odometer. The speedo was off by a couple mph’s and the odometer was incorrect also. But since the odometer was recording less miles than actually traveled, I didn’t care. I took the free miles. It also had stock wheels. I know this isn’t an F150, but it is a Ford.

I have a 2005 FX4 and my speedometer is off by about 3 miles per hour too slow.

I wouldn't worry about it.
