Overdrive light flashing?
Last night my overdrive light on the gear shift was flashing on and off. The truck ran normal the whole trip but the light never stopped. After shutting off the truck and restarting, the flashing stopped and hasn't happen since.
Is this some kind of code? Has this happend to anyone else?

It is a code. It means that the computer saw a problem with the transmission and stored an error code in it's memory. In order to find out what's wrong you need to have someone use a Ford specific OBDII scan tool to read the stored code. Then someone can diagnose what is wrong.
