Am I reading this correctly?

On my door sticker I see TR and under it there is a E. So I have the 4R100 transmition? I have a 2000 4x4 expy 3.55 slip. I was told that they did not put the 4r100 trans in this model year? The reason I am wanting to know is for a factory tech upgrade, I am tired of the sloppy slow shifts. Can anyone tell me if Iam reading this thing wrong or right?

Thanks
Robert

Yup E is the 4R100. I think all the expys were 4R100s?

How will the factory Tech Vb affect the 4r100 trans? I am wanting firmer 1-2, and 2-3 so I can sqeek the tires if I want.

I would assume the expy and navi to be similiar, and I have the E40D in a 98 navi
