Tansgo Shift Kit

Hello all

Im wondering if anyone has used the Transgo shift kit in their 4R70W, or has had any experience with one? Im kind of tossing around the though of getting one of these from TP

What benifits am I going to get over stock? Anything big, and worth the 100 bucks? Also, is it going to cause any damage to my tranny over time?
Finally, whats involved in installing one? I read you need to drop the pan to get to the VB, but what needs to be done there? Is it new springs and pins or what?

Thanks

Ok, one last thing. Whats the advantage of a FTVB over this, and is it worth it to spend the 125 bucks more for the FTVB over this kit? Thanks

From: LOUISIANA,
Just put one in my truck this morning, works great lights them up in first then barks in 2nd. Tried the valve body first had problems with it so greg recomended the seperator plate. All u have to do is drop pan, pull filter , unplug wire lume<--spelling., then unbolt the valve body. once the valve body's down just take the four bolts in each of the pressure pads(or the circle things ) and the one other bolt and replace with the new seperator plate. Now u its up to you how hard you want it to shirt 1-2, leaving the yellow and smaller spring out will make it shift real hard though 1-2, then it tells you to leave the spring out of the 2-3.Would recomend if you tow alot to leave the 1-2 the same, its preaty firm without the other two springs , . Hope this helps and good luck.
