hey, guys, just got into a bran-new 05 screw. first time for owner. (i love it!!) EXCEPT... whats the deal with the auto trannys? i have never driven a truck with such a smooth shift before and while i am torn between i like ot or hate it. i cant figure it out. dodge and chevys shift harder and 'feel' like they have moe power with each shift.??? i consider myself mildly mechanically inclined but when it comes to auto trans. i am a dumb monkey. can some one explain whats the deal with the new f-150 autos??

 

Electronic transmission, electronic throttle. Makes for an extremly smooth shift.
