I would check all the eletrical connections at the solenoids and wher it conects to the main harness at the case look at the conecters to be shure you did not bend one of the conectors over also did you get the bottle cap in the rigt way on the 2/3 accumalter and did the acculalter stay in position? also is the shift valve in the shift arm?

From: LOUISIANA,
Thumbs down

No it would shift ok under light gas though 1-2 and 2-3 then it wouldnt shift into overdrive, but if you stop and gave it half gas it would sound like the brake was on, lug the engine down . So lastnight put stock valve body back in and runs great, i think it shifts better than before so i dont think i was doing anything wrong, but i just couldnt get an answer from Factory Tech or any help from them at all

if you are still having problems with your FTVB you may want to hit up Mike Dunn at madenterprise (mike@madenterprise.com). he is pretty knowledgable when it comes to the FTVB's (he provides his own detailed installation instructions) and i purchased the FT separator plate kit through him. he was able to offer a lot of direction with the install. he also contacted FT specifically for my application. couldn't hurt to ask

Sorry i didn't get back to you sooner. Sounds like a stuck valve or maybe a misplaced gasket, I'll ship you a replacement valve body if you will send a shipping address to me at gregg@factorytech.net
