Talked to Factory Tech today, Bob I think. Factory Tech produces Valve Bodies for the 4R100 Trannies which only comes in hte Lightnings and HD's. The separator plate is for the 4R70W trannies, 4.6's and 5.4's. Please somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

The seperator plate from Factory Tech is an awesome piece. I installed one in my 2002 F150 about 2 weeks ago. It shifts so much better now. I used the mild setting for the 1-2 upshift and the aggressive setting for the 2-3 upshift. I highly recommend it. I also installed Amsoil Synthetic tranny fluid. The tranny used to take a couple of seconds to shift into reverse, now it goes in almost instantly. Would higly recommend this setup to anyone. The plate was under $100.00 incuding shipping. Hope this helps.

We no longer make the full valve body for the 4R70W, the speparator plate is the way to go. I had a lot of problems with people having install issues on the valve body and honestly the difference was a lot more apparent on a graph than you could actually feel. Troyer as well as all my dealers have them in stock. If you call Bob at the number you called before he has them also.

just a note, www.factorytechtransmissions.com is not my site, that is Bob Riley, a dealer of mine and a heck of a guy. It's in the fine print on the site, but some people call there asking for me and I'm here, not there. For the most part I do not sell retail at this time.
