'93 F150 Crippled!!!!!!

Not sure what happened today but when I got off of work and out to the truck the ABS light was flashing and I could not get the damn thing out of park. I had to call the wife to come pick me up and the truck still sits there. I put tranny fluid in (was a Qt low) and still not able to get it out of park. Have no clue as to what to do..... CAN ANYONE HELP ME????????????????????

Turn the key ONE click towards on. Not enough to turn anything electrical on, but enough to unlock the shifter. Now move the shifter to neutral and start the truck.

Then get it fixed! Either the brake light switch is bad or the solenoid that keeps it in park until the brake lights are on is bad.

93s do not have anything electrical holding the gear shifter (no need to touch the brake before shifting).

You are saying that you can not move the gear shifter correct?
If so it has to be in the steering column. When you turn your key on it allows you to move the gear shifter. You can disconnect the cable where it goes in the trans and move the lever on the trans itself to make sure nothing is wrong with the transmission. I recommend you do this without the truck running, on flat ground, and with the parking brake on.
