ok i have a 94 f150 auto trans and i just had it rebuilt cuz overdrive quit working well i got it back from the shop and when i accelerate from a dead stop the truck shakes like crazy then i let off the gas then shifts and it goes through the rest of the gears fine seems like everytime i take off it shakes like crazy the shop told me the trans is fine and they still have my truck to find out what the problem is can anyone on here point me in the right direction thanks i heard it may be the u joints just a guess

 

I'd guess it has a worn stator support leaking out the forward clutch pressure or something like that.

I have the exactly the same problem with my 2002 f150 supercrew 4x4 and I'm still trying to fing the solution. Did you get any answers from the transmission shop?
