I have an 89 f150 4x4 auto and the tranny that I found, a manual (I am changing over) for an 80 f150 4x4. Will the 80 tranny work in my 89? Its a 4 speed granny low. He told me that he would let me have it for 175 if I come pull it. I am assuming that the cylinders and clutch are with it. Someone help me out a little here please. Thanks.

 

What size motor? If it's a 351M or a 400, The tranny's will NOT bolt up to the block. I'm 90% sure it'll be a 351M, therefore your SOL. Let us know.
