My friend has an 85 f150 and it has a four speed, he said i could have it for like 100 bucks and i was going to take the tranny out of it b/c it was replaced by an earlier owner and i know its works pretty well, now my question is am i gonna run into any problems with this truck trying to swap tranny's ? also the trucks a long bed and mine is a short, so im gonna have to get my driveshaft redone, right? and also my trans mount had been through a lot of oil gunk up so would i be able to take that mount off the 85 and use it?
Feedback would be awesome so i could know to buy this thing and start a project...thanks everyone

 

By the way they're both 6 cyl, just one is a five speed.
