transmission fluid loss

I have an '87 150 automatic 6 cyl. and I have to add transmission fluid every 100 miles. It doesn't appear to leak out anywhere. Where does it go and how do I fix it?????

Check the modulator hose for fluid. Does the motor seem to smoke?

Another possiblity might be to check the Tcase. I'm not sure about the fords but the chevys are notorious for loosing that seal between them and filling up the tcase untill it overflows. But dirtyd0g is probably right. He usually is

There is a rubber line running from the modulator to the vacuum port on the engine(or the T on the firewall). That hose is probably all swollen up. Replace all of the swollen hoses as they will jusr fall off from being so soft. You will also need to replace the modulator on the transmission. That is pretty easy to do it is held in by one bolt. Make sure you don't lose the pin that will fall out with the modulator. Any local parts store should be able to get you the hose and modulator.
