HELP I have a 95 f150 4x4 302 I just had the tranny filter changed and when the guy droped the pan the filter was just sitting in the bottom and the fluid was so bad it looked like liquified wheel berring grease. Now when it is cold it goes right into reverse but when it is warm it just makes a clicking noise unless I give the truck a small push back. I know the converter was still full of the nasty fluid but i am not sure if i dare have it flushed now. the truck has 161000 miles but i was told by the previous owner the tranny was replaced 3 years ago. (If this tranny is junk how hard would it be to convert to a standard I know ford put all the punchouts for a clutch in the firewall?) I love this truck to much to get rid of it PLEESE HELP ME

 

Not hard since almost everything bolts up. Knock out clutch rod and floor pan, then bolt everything else up.

 

so what tranny should i use and do i have to change the computer
