1998 F150 Manual to Automatic conversion

I'm considering converting my manual transmission to automatic. If anyone has any information or can give some help, please do. Thank you.

I guess you could install a c6 or an aod without going through a computer nightmare. The cables will be tricky to get right however. I would leave it manual or just sell it and buy and automatic truck.

As you can probably tell, i don't have much experience in swapping trannys. I had no idea it would be that much trouble. Thank you for your help.

the cheapest way to do it would be to sell the truck and get one with an automatic. That is honestly what I reccommend.

But.... I have done some transmission swapping on my 98 and hope to swap some transmissions on some lightnings this year. 6-speeds Lightnings would be kick *** *cough* *cough*
