Talking Neutral Safety switch?

has anyone heard of a neutral Safety switch, and if so where on the transmission is it?

All transmissions have this switch to prevent you from starting the engine in any position but park and neutral.
You have an AOD transmission.
The switch should be found on the driver's side, usually in a vertical position with mutilple wires and a connector.

I'm hunting for mine, on a 99 4x4. Is it just off of the metal transmission pan?

On that one it is right behind the shift lever.
