92 F150 4x4 5 speed, bought it for a couple hundred bucks, runs and drives great, just needs little things fixed.

I have attempted to repair shifter problem, first i think this is where i screwed up, i took the whole shifter assembly out, top and bottom piece while vehicle was setting in 2nd gear.

Had to replace nylon bushins in lower shifter, as well as guide pins to fix shifter slack.

Now i cant put vehicle into any gear it wont move. please email me quick with an answer anybody please.

With the cover off set the transmission sliders so that the trans is in neutal make shure the shifter forks on the cover are in neutral position ( shifter handle will move left and right) Carfuly set the cover streight down in position and it should work. Make shure the truck is blocked so it doesent get away from you when it is in neutral.
