Transmission pan drain plug

I've been interested in getting myself one of these drain plugs for my transmission pan but I have no idea where to even start looking. Is this something I can find at the local napa or ebay? Is there another name that the item goes by? Dropping the pan gets old after awhile as many of us know by now!

Pretty much any auto parts store has them in the hardware section or next to the lube rack.
About U$5 for mine.

If your local auto store doesn't have any, all of the performance parts houses stock them. Once common version is the B&M #80250. Like this:

If improperly installed, they tend to eventually leak. You just drill successively larger holes until it's 1/2". I've found that the sealing is much better if you buy an additional thin washer and place it between the teflon washer and the exterior fitting. Otherwise, the teflon washer distorts as the hexagon fitting is tightened against it.

Read this thread for my solution. The Sure Drain works well and doesn't leak. I used thread locker when I installed mine.
