tranny still aint right

well here we go again. this truck still aint right. ive had changed fluid, filter, added Lucas tranny treatment, which worked for about 2 weeks. now the jerking is back. or the correct term the dealership calls it is "shuttering". I call in annoying. what should i do now? i guess thats the question im asking. as it was "shuttering" on my way home i was thinkin of what it actually feels like and the way i would describe it would be as if you were pullin a car with a chain, you got some slack in the chain and all of a sudden the car you are pullin taps the brakes. do this sound familar to anyone? thanks for the input.

Most common cause of TC shudder on a 4R70W is using Mercon III instead of Mercon V. Mercon V cost about $3 per quart and most "quicky lube" type places wont use it in there T-Tech machines because of the cost.

If fluid is the only problem why do I rebuild the converters so much and replace the crappy stock lockup lining? There are many issues that will effect shudder. Check the plug wires and EGR. These do require mercon V fluid. There are modifications that should be made to any pre 98 valvebody as well. I would guess his truck needs a new converter.

man i would hate to price one of those!!! the thing is that it only does it once in awhile. maybe twice every aweek. i drive about 230 miles aweek. it just really upsets me that a truck with 43xxx miles has a tranny problem. do you think it could be a sensor? or something electrical? thanks for your guys input!!!
