Angry chatter (loss of power) in reverse????

Hey Guys,

I have just had some work done on My 1999 f-150 5.4 4x4. new plugs, a new coil pack on #4 cylinder ect. The problem I was having was a shutter/ chatter in drive gear, now after all of the above has fixed the problem in drive, but now happens in reverse when it did not before. When I put the truck in the reverse gear and hit the GAS the truck chatters and shakes, but the RPM's do not change. By the way the o/d/ light is still flashing, but I can get it to stop, by wiggling the shifter. PLEASE HELP

Check the MLPS (range sensor) I'd suggest putting it on a scanner to verify it is working right electronically.
