Bad News

Just got a e-mail from Hurst------- The new shifter DOES NOT fit a 4x4 with a 5sp. Only fits a 2-wheel drive!!!!

E-mailed Anita at Troyer and her information is totally different than what I got!!! She said to wait a week to confirm that the shifter would fit a 4x4.

Can it really be this impossible to make a short throw shifter come i mean we have **** on mars and we can't even get a simple part for a stinkin 5 speed tranny.

somebody hold me!!!

The only difference that I can see in the two trannys is that 4x2 has an extension housing and 4x4 has an adapter for the T-case. Why would there be two different sets of internal shift forks?
