Question Matt Sharp
I'm haveing a weird "bump" when I start from a standstill and it feels like it is comeing from behind me in the suspension or rear end on my '96 4X4. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I have noticed a similar "bump" in my '97.

I'd be interested to know too.

Sounds like axle wind-up, something all live rear axles do to a degree.

Do you notice it more when you shift from reverse to drive (or vice-versa), and then start moving?
