Code 0755
SSB circuit fault
It looks like it's an electrical fault code. The ECU doesn't detect a voltage drop when the "SSB" solenoid is activated.
There's a pretty exhaustive troubleshooting tree in the manual that involves using a scan tool to turn the solenoid off and on to check the state and verify the fault. Then check for B+ at the solenoid connector (inside the trans), then chance of voltage state with solenoid unplugged (again with scan tool), then solenoid resistance (20-30 ohms)...
If you have more time than money, you can just buy a solenoid (pretty cheap) and try swapping it out in a few different positions that use the same one. It looks like they use the same one for at least two positions, maybe even more.
First check the external trans connections...and an EVTM (Ford wiring book) would be VERY helpful.
