I just got a '02 5.4 Screw 4x4 and I was wondering how I can find out what gears it has. There is nothing on the original window sticker. It does has a class III towing package. I don't if that would help out any. Plus I was told the previous owner used it to pull trailers a lot (don't know what size). My dad knows the previous owner but I can't get in touch with him. I guess he is out having to much fun in his new F-250.

 

There's a axle code on the driver's side door jamb; search or post the code here. Also, the actual ratio is on a tag under one of the cover bolts. It's the first numbers from the left on the second row of data.
