My 1989 f150 lwb with a C6 trans, I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to a AOD??

i'd just like to get the rpm down on the highway & when just cruising around.

Will the box fit?
Wot other mods are required to get to phyically fix?
How do i can the column shift selector

Yep, they'll interchange, since you could get a AOD trans in the '89 F 150 behind most all the engines. A trip to some of the local boneyards should provide you with all the parts you need to make the swap.
