I own a 95 f150 w/ a 4r70w tranny. It always seems to be shifting and/or TC locking and unlocking too much. If a car slows and turns then my truck shifts into the higher gear, then I have to give it lots of gas to make it downshift to get back up to speed.My question is if I change tranny fluid and use mercon V will it help have a more tolerable shift, or is this just a characteristic of the 4r70w.
