I have a question about overdrive? I have heard that you cannot tow with over drive and that you can. I am wondering which is true? I have an F-250 SD 4X4 with a 7.3L automatic.I am going to be towing a 19' camper trailer. Can someone please clear this up? I don't want to mess up my transmission.

The only time you should turn off overdrive is if the transmission is frequently shifting in and out of overdrive. That's in your owner's manual.
