I have an E40D. Is that more of a heavy duty tranny, or regular. And, i wanna find a 5 sp manual to change out wth the E40D, and i need to know what that tranny would be.

Thumbs up

Stay with the auto... A solid tranny once a transgo kit is added. Had a '92 with a 5.0 and it would grab 2nd every time with 275/60-15's. If you feel like throwing something around, install a slap stick instead of all the mod's your goin' to deal with. B&M has a full line of racheting shifters.

Good luck

What is a transgo kit, and what does it do. I have thought about the shift kit. I mean, this thing is really tempermental. She sticks gears when she wants too, and she can be nice other times. And none of her problems have seemed to deal wth the weather either. So, i know that making it a clutch would be a pain, but i was hoping to get a little better gas milage. So, hit me up wth some more info, so i know more about it.

Thanks a lot.
