i am pissed
walk outside today and there is a big puddle of tranny fluid under my truck and it looks like my front seal is going out its a '97 4.6 with bout 98k on it anyone have any idea how much its gonna cost to get it fixed

Well, from experience I know that rebuilding the whole thing is gonna run you about $3000 from ford. Hopefully you haven't reached that level of catastrophic leakage yet.

im not takin it to ford to get done im takin it to a tranny shop a guy i know pretty well owns and im gonna help him pull it and put it back in and he'll help me out on the price so its not gonna be 3000
