I have a noise that is coming from the trans. that sounds almost like the power steering whine.

My truck is a 97, 4.6l, auto.

Is this a normal sound? Or what could be causing it?

Had the trans. flushed and changed about 3,000 miles ago... can't remember if it was making the noise before or not. Could be that I just notice it more now.

My truck has a little over 43,000, and has been well kept.
