I was driving my dads truck with the powerstroke in it and for some reason when you put it into drive, the truck doesn't seem like it wants to shift into high gear. The easiest way to describe it is that it dies when it goes into high gear. I scanned it and it says that it is a P0603 internal module error. Does anyone know what that means or what is causing it?

PCM Keep Alive Memory (KAM) error. I'm not sure how to fix it, it's not a transmission code, maybe a tuner could help.

Either someone has chipped it and then removed it (if it comes back after erase and drive), or the batteries have been unhooked or discharged.
