Factory Tech 4W70R VB Kit

'Got my Factory Tech VB installed--after taking care of the list of "honey-do's", of course.

All I can say is "O M G !"--never heard the acc belt squeel before!

No more lasy shifts for my FX4. --Have a few Tech questions for Gregg, though. I have tried to e-mail a couple of times, but my computer has been acting like it's on crack, so I can't be sure anything has gone through. If you're out there Gregg, please try to shoot me a message to confirm that you did or did not receive my questions.

Thanks alot,

Sidewinder

02 XLT,

Where did you get your belt? Will the dudes at Advance or AutoZone know what I'm talking about?

No. And even if they do, they'll just say, "We have these (other) belts available..."

I found a good price on Mike Troyer's site.

Also, where did you get your valve body (for the 4R70W)? I looked on Power Surge Performance, but could only find the 4R100 valve body.

You can get the belt from Mike. I got mine from Summit and it took two tries. Make sure you get the correct one. Either an 8 rib or 6 rib. I say go with Troyer!

Contact Gregg directly for the valvebody: GBEvans@peoplepc.com

Got my belt and a buddies at Auto Zone. They had both the 6 and 8 rib belts. Believe it or not the 8 rib belt was cheaper

Can you not put "the scoop" here, so we can all benefit?
