Tranny Problems

Ok, I have a 99 F150 W/4.6 (Not sure of which tranny) Its an Auto.

It deloped the "famous" 45-70mph shudder problem. Shortly after I purchased the truck used in Dec. I changed the fluid making sure to drain the converter. I used a Mercon V fluid as recommended on the dipstick.

Now it shudders bad at 35 MPH and when I climb and sort of grade no matter how slight at 35-50 mph it kicks back and forth between 3-4 gear. About once a sec a consdierable period of time. (My GF that knows little to nothing about mechanics of Vehicles noticed the problem) It will also do the same thing on level ground when accelerating with a 800lb load on level ground.

I have checked the fluid level it seems good. Any suggestions?

Thank You
