Mark K or other, cooler bypass?
Is there a bypass inside the tranny (4R70W) that allows fluid to recirculate without going to the cooler when its cool enough?

No, fluid is always running through the cooler. Do a search, I remeber seeign a thread about this not to long ago.

The 4R70W does not have a cooler bypass.
