I am getting a very slight shudder when my truck shifts into overdrive. No other problems with the tranny. The truck has 67k on it and I changed the fluid around 30k with Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. The fluid looks and smells new.

Any ideas?

 

in my opinion thats the infamous tourqe coverter shudder and even though you changed your fluid with the good stuff 30,000 is the max mileage on a fluid change in my opinion. i would say change your fluid as this has happened to me before and the fluid change was the fix. if you plan on doing yourself make sure youm also drain the converter as it holds 6 or 7 quarts itself. hope this helps 97 f150 4.6 4x4 sc
