Never looked to close at one, I think they modify the main control as opposed to the accumulator, it's a curious way to do it, but much different that what I do. I think they were just thinking that way, most trannies don't have a seperate valve body for the accumulator, they're ussually in the case. What I do won't work on most boxes, but if they're set up that way, it's a very easy and reliable way to do it, much more precise than tuning the main control.
