Calling Mark K- AODE help
Mark,
Gregg suggested you as "the man" on these trannies. This is on my daily driven that is not abused and only has a few minor bolt ons (cold air kit, underdrive pullies, x pipe)
I have a 95GT (5.0) with AODE. It has 20K on rebuild and a little over a yr old.
It is hanging shifts (2-3 especially) for additional second or two and engaging in/out of lockout sporadically. Fluid level is good and not burnt and is not throwing any codes.
I've had various opinions offered (replace all electronics to replace vb- values sticking)
Any help is appreciated.

Two things come to mind.
First, the Transmission Range Sensor could be dying. It won't set a code until a total failure. While it's on the way out it can cause all sorts of erratic operation. If you didn't get a new one with the rebuild I'd replace it now.
Second, you could have a pressure control solenoid problem. The shop manuals have a procedure to test it. I don't have a manual to give you the procedure and pressures that you need to check.
