Leak after highway driving
I recently took a 6 trip towing a u-haul trailer and now I have pool of tranny fluid under the truck and drips coming from the front of the bellhousing. I was wondering if there is an overflow valve or something that would cause to pool or mabey something might be messed up. By the way it is a 5.4l with the 4r70.
For the last hour of the drive I was in 3rd gear because of the wind was slowing me down. I was thinking that it might have overheated and started leaking.
Thanks in advance

Just a little while ago I wiped off the the tranny, bellhousing, and every thing else to see if it was still dripping and it still is. It is not dripping that much but still is. It loks like it is coming off of a round rubber seal lokking thing on the bell. Im not sure what it is exactly but it looks like something off of the bottom of a piggy-bank.
If by t/c you mean a transfer case I dont have one of those. It could be coming from the front seal and just leaking further down.

thats the access...
plug to your tourge converter drain plug....it will come around and line up with that hole on the bell housing...if someone had that off and did,nt seat it right it could be leaking or worse, getting ready to come off
